- Potential impacts of climate change: In India, prolonged dry spells and shifting climate may be leading to more severe attacks of white stem borer on arabica coffee, while in Central America rain extending into the typical dry season diminished pollinator diversity and led to lower yields in some situations.
- In Peru, coffee farmers are aiming to reforest 5000 ha and utilizing carbon credits, both to help them adapt to climate change.
