The way many consumers "get into" sustainable coffee is through special coffee clubs or promotions which are sponsored by conservation organizations. How good are these coffees? If they aren’t substantially better than what people are used to drinking, they won’t be motivated to make the switch away from cheap and convenient grocery store coffee. It’s time for a little overview of these products. Presumably, these coffees are truly sustainable, so we’ll investigate that as well.
What will follow in the days ahead will be reviews of the following coffees:
- American Birding Association Songbird Coffee (Thanksgiving Coffee Co.)
- National Wildlife Federation Blend (Green Mountain Coffee Roasters)
- Audubon Coffee (Rogers Family Co.)
- Wild Bird’s Unlimited Birder’s Blend (Thanksgiving Coffee Co.)
As the reviews are posted, I will update the list above with links.
